United States Home School to Home School Program
Through my own frustrations on providing my children the best education possible and wanting to offer more hands on activities. I have decided to spearhead a new program titled the New Heights Educational Group “United States Home School Family to Family Program”. I will be contacting every home school group in the United States with this programs information. This program would benefit home school families that want to offer more opportunities or work programs for our students who need to travel, but can’t afford all the costs that go with it.
It is so costly for a hotel. We as home schoolers have decided for many reasons to live on one income, this would help us provide a more rounded education for our children.
Our children are so talented and have so many skills and opportunities and we often need to travel to different places, but hotels are just too expensive. I would like to start a program where home school families join together to offer places for our children and families to stay. I realize that some home schoolers do that already for over seas students, but how about for students in the United States?
Here are some basic rules for the program.
1. All families that want to participate in this program need to contact us to get signed up.
2. Families should be willing to provide a safe and clean place for these families to stay.
3. Families are asked to provide references. (We want all families to feel safe and secure).
4. Families can choose whether or not they will provide a meal or meals during a family or students visit.
5. Families all agree to offer shelter for no cost to the families visiting.
6. All families must abide and be respectful of the host families home and rules.
7. All families that take advantage of this program is asked to be a host family, however I understand this may not be possible for some, NOONE WILL BE LEFT OUT!
8. Families can elect to talk to the families personally or meet somewhere else before taking them to their home.
9. Host families could choose if they would want to be a guide to visiting families.
10. If your children have special needs you will need to list this information also. This will help the Host family with providing you with any special accommodations that may be needed.
Special Notes:
Families that have not taught their children to respect others belonging's, homes and people should not participate in this program!
So far we have 10 host families they are located in Defiance, Ohio; Modesto, California;
Northern California; Bozeman, Montana; Fairplay, Maryland; Copper Canyon,
Texas; Connecticut; Pembroke, VA; Peterstown, West Virginia- (we of course
want to see this expand on a massive scale.
We currently have 6 traveling families -they are mostly connected to the
above list.
Sincerely,
Pamela S. Clark
