Mack Clark graduated from the John Casablanca's Modeling School in Toledo, Ohio on July 25, 2009.

Earned a Blue Belt in Jujustu in August 2011

Zachary Clark is a Certified Scuba Diver and CERT Member for Defiance County
He was 2010/2011 President of our Youth Advisory Group
Zachary has earned a "Underwater Archaeology Certification"

Zachary Allen Clark is a Homeschool student from Defiance, Ohio that has been recognized as a 2010-2011 Discus Award winner for his achievements in the areas of Academics, Community Service, and Other Achievements. The Discus Awards is a national program that provides recognition and scholarship opportunities to all-around high school students who excel in three of ten key attributes.
Zachary is now eligible for 2010-2011 Discus Awards scholarships.
Also, Zachary created a multimedia profile highlighting his achievements, which may be viewed in the Discus Awards

Tanya Collins: School year 2008-2009. 9th grade
Tanya was on the Science Olympiad team and competed at the district level this year.
She participated in the Spanish club after school.
Her favorite subjects are math and Spanish.
She put together a PowerPoint presentation and made a video along with a Taylor Swift song.
She is a member of 4-H and is taking the project, Teens on the road to financial success.
She is a member of the new Venturing Crew 19.
They are planning a Whitewater rafting trip this summer. She also hopes to have a job this summer.
Tanya was the 2010/2011 Secretary for our Youth Advisory Group.


Randell Collins 2008-2009 school year
Randell has worked really hard this year.
He has completed his 5th grade classes and is working on his 6th grade work now. He is on the honor Roll.
His favorite subject is science. He loves to be on the computer.
He is a 2nd class Boy Scout with troop 19, a very active troop.
He has earned 4 merit badges and is working on more.
He took a hiking merit badge which required five 10 mile hikes and One 20 mile hike.
He only has one more hike to do and he will receive his badge.
He has built a bridge on the buckeye trail and they plan on building at least two more this year.
He is currently in 4-H and is taking the project safe use of guns.
He played football for the Rams. He helps his dad at the fire station He is looking forward to being a junior fire fighter when he is 14.

Correena Spangler is the 7-8th grade First Place Winner
Of the 2009 Underground Railroad Essay Contest, sponsored by Friends of the Lathrop House and Metroparks.
Correena will be honored at the May 5th reception to be held at the Manor House at Wildwood Metropark as the 2009 winner of the seventh and eighth grade division of the essay contest and she will read her essay before the membership.
She will also receive a $100 savings bond.
Correena Spangler is published and awarded poet who is wishing to attend Liberty University in Virginia for Government and Communication as well as attending Stockholm University in Sweden for an International Degree in Political Science. She has been a part of the National Youth Leadership Forum, Ohio and West Virginia Hi-Y Youth in Government.
And National Honor Society Member and Discus Award Winner 2011 and is now eligible for 2010-2011 Discus Awards scholarships.

Josh Zartman is a Culinary Mastermind and was the 2010/2011 Vice President of our Youth Advisory Group.
