Who We Are & What We Believe

Pamela Clark, Founder/Director
New Heights Educational Group, Inc. was formed in June 2006 as a support network of diverse northwest Ohio families with children in public, charter, and home schools. We currently serve northwest Ohio and beyond, including (but not limited to): Paulding; Defiance; Van Wert; Delphos; Lima; Putnam County; Wauseon; and Napoleon.
We believe that a child's high-quality school experience includes exposure to diverse people, topics, and learning adventures. Therefore, our goal is to provide a social/informational framework within which parents and students can share educational resources; group activities; field trips; newsletters; meetings; and email/chatroom discussions.
We welcome all home, charter and public-schooled families, regardless of educational philosophy; teaching style; or religious beliefs.

In remembrance of Florence Decker (1910 - 1990), who taught me the power of belief in the face of adversity and struggle, as well as the courage to stand up and correct apparent wrongs.
She strongly believed that time spent on a child was never wasted and worked hard to make our world better
during her lifetime. I'm simply picking up where she left off.
Thank you, Grandmother, for your strength, wisdom, and heart!

Taken from Jahmene Douglas Singer
"They play it safe. Are quick to assassinate what they do not understand. They move in packs, ingesting more and more fear with every act of hate on one another. They feel most comfortable in groups, less guilt to swallow. They are us. This is what we have become. Afraid to respect the individual. A single person within a circumstance can move one to change, to love our self, to evolve."
