Storyline Online Is a website featuring videos of famous actors and actresses reading children’s stories aloud. There is a great selection of videos from a variety of actors: stories students will love regardless of if they know who is reading them. These videos could fit in many spaces throughout the day, but many reviews say that they are a hit to calm the kids down before the end of the day.

Richard C. Bartlett Award

The Richard C. Bartlett Award was established by the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) in 2007 to distinguish teachers who best represent Richard C. Bartlett’s passion for and leadership in environmental education. Richard Bartlett (1935-2011) believed that the role of teachers in integrating environmental education is critical to preserving the natural world for future generations. His commitment to conservation and environmental education spanned over four decades and inspired environmental educators nationwide.

NOAA’s Teacher at Sea Program

The mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Teacher at Sea Program is to provide teachers hands-on, real-world research experience working at sea with world-renowned NOAA scientists, thereby giving them unique insight into oceanic and atmospheric research crucial to the nation. The program provides a unique opportunity for kindergarten through college-level teachers to sail aboard NOAA research ships to work under the tutelage of scientists and crew.
